FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: What is the difference between an agent and a manager?
A: Although the terms have become synonymous and are often used interchangeably, an agent is a licensed, union-franchised representative who submits talent for work and negotiates contracts on their behalf. A traditional manager advances artists' careers and guides or advises talent on day-to-day affairs such as auditions, contract negotiations, networking, agent acquisition and other business decisions. Neither an agent nor a manager charges talent any up-front fees for any reason.

Q: Will Stalwart Talent Management help me find an agent?

A: Yes. For represented talent who would like to add an agent to their team or transition to an agency, Stalwart prepares talent for agent referrals. Once clients have secured the services of an agent, Stalwart typically advises clients lean on their agent and forego management services.
